Granny's gone and done it again

Robinia hispida, it says. DH's parents dug up a few of these from the forest many years ago and planted them near the house. We now have a thriving little colony of them. They are quite pretty and not too invasive (like redbud, lol).

Also known as bristly locust or rose acacia, but not sure it's the same thing. Wiki says the natives used it for making fence posts, but what we have is way too spindly for that. Some sites also say all parts of the plant are poisonous while others talk about its medicinal uses. Hmm.

No pee today. Robert kept her on leash for most the day
Wonderful! You had asked how long it would take to teach her. If he is faithful in doing that, and not letting her have "accidents" in the house, I think you can expect her to be doing well in a week or two. But he must also remember in the morning NOT to let her out of the crate until she ASKS. Also any time during the day when she can't be on leash, put her in the crate and don't let her out till she asks, and then take her straight out. Don't bring her back in till she potties. Have Robert exercise her till she does. Just run around with her a bit, clap hands, get her excited, etc., till she pees. Then praise and bring her in.

My redbud died for some reason. Sigh.
