Each fifth generation may travel as many as 2500 miles from Canada where they breed to return to the areas in the south where they hibernate for the winter. It's amazing.

Well, I see everybody agrees with me and the consensus is I have 4 cockerels and 2 pullets. Sigh. We had hoped to have olive egger pullets to sell! Oh well, the cockerels will make good soup, dumplings, etc. And on the plus side, I won't have to cull many of my older girls to make room for the newbies!
