Blue!! I didn’t see this until now. Goodbyes are so hard, but also so necessaryThe worst thing about dogs is that they don’t live long enough. It’s weird because even though I’ve never actually seen her irl, Gracie seemed like a really great dog. So glad she had a long happy life. Sorry for your loss.

Thanks, Cherry. Lol, she was all that and a box of chocolates! And she did have a great life here, because she had a job and loved doing it. You know, she didn't exactly guard the chickens, but she guarded her territory, and the net result was the same. She was not a velcro dog, she could almost always be found lying on either the back or the front step, watching for intruders. And so we didn't have any. The chickens could free range at peace because she was always on guard. She was the perfect dog for this place. We were blessed to have had her. She'll be missed!

@Cynthia12: I have a little bottle of lavender essential oil. I just use a few drops to add a little scent to a lotion/skin cream I make out of coconut oil, cocoa butter and olive oil. I have also used it when grooming the dogs, when cleaning their anal glands. Oh, and it's nice to put a few drops in a foot bath when soaking feet. It can be relaxing as well as aromatic. Do I believe they have healing properties? Not particularly. Some can be irritants. Tea tree oil, for example, is one I definitely can't use. JC Penney's hair salon here uses a shampoo containing echinacea, tea tree oil, and I can't let them use it on me, or my scalp will feel like it's on fire for days! .

Ayooo. Missed you all again. I’m getting ready to get into full summer study mode. USABO registration starts in august and I need to finish reading at least two textbooks by the time the open exams take place. Not a big deal if I manage my time properly. Oh and also the most annoying thing happened to me today. Okay so I was applying for this research program for Fall 2023 right. Well, I was literally on page FOUR of the registration and at this point I’d written several paragraphs of information, attached my transcript, attached other various documents, and written down all my contact information and then BAM. The page just reloaded on me and all my information was gone. Y’all know that hurt Anyways, I gave up. Gonna finish it tmrw
