This Friday. Teeth cleaning. They went ahead and put down 4 from the looks of them. She'll pretty much be toothless. Soft dog food from now on I guess. Gee..you should hear all the fireworks. My Cooper dies not like them. Gave him a melatonin.

No fireworks allowed here after all the wild fires. The towns can do a public display, but individual fireworks can't be sold any more. It was a good fundraiser for a lot of organizations. Unfortunately, too many irresponsible (drunk?) people.

We had 2 donkeys when I was a kid. One named Jenny and the dark one was Brandy. They were a hoot!

Hot day here as well, luckily the animals were fine. I put the broodies in a crate this morning but it was too small to fit all four. Gonna have to set up another dog cage. Oh and another bird went broody today so that’s 5 in total. I’m worried that the heat’ll get to them so have started wetting their feed again. So grateful that they have trees in their run so it’s not as bad. The goats were pretty much unscathed since their pens are entirely in the shade. I did notice that they have been drinking a lot more water lately but otherwise they don’t seem to mind the temps. Did some small errands today as well. Kiki’s birthday is tomorrow (it’s not her actual birthday, just the day we got her…so maybe more like an anniversary?). Anyways, got her some gifts and a little part hat. We also visited another tattoo shop farther from where we live. I wanted to get my ear piercings done today but I didn’t bring my ID so probably would have to do it after the LA trip. I also went shopping for a little bit with my mom. That was pretty fun.

Yeah, it really sucked. So much work for nothing! And now i have no idea how long it will be before i get it back, or how much to fix it.

Had a thunderstorm here today and as usual lightning was snapping and popping all around. Knocked out my electric for about 4 hours. I have an aluminum extension ladder laying flat against the house. Maybe that's what is attracting lightning here so bad. Might should move it.

Thanks Pert, hubby said there was oil in the driveway so it had already been leaking before i left.
