Granny's gone and done it again

54 blissful foggy degrees this morning. Things are wet from the fog drip.
I actually got some sleep. Yay.

We are going over to my sister's in the next town. They are having a 4th celebration with a band, food trucks, contests and activities for the kiddies. Best part is we can park at Sis's and walk there down the creek trail path.

Her town has fireworks after dark, also within walking distance. We will try to get close enough to see without actually having to go into the event. They keep the fireworks very low due to fire danger.

Good night Granny. It makes me feel so helpless, i am just not strong enough to do all this. And i spend way too much time sleeping.
Just came in from putting critters away. 1 am, and it feels like 71° while it's sprinkling out there. Now i can't even go to a swap and sell them. My hair is totally soaked.
Its not your fault. Dont kick yourself. You cant change the weather or the truck. Wont your insurance pick that up? :flIf so you can get a rental truck. Theres just nothing you could do different. ❤️

Only thing i can think of is if i had it towed from where i first discovered it. At least hubby is not blaming me. I just don't need the additional stress.

We had the worst micro burst than we've had in years!
Wow, sounds like it really did some damage, Cynthia. Sorry it made such a mess. Glad no one was hurt.
In florida, if a wind storm or hurricane was headed our way, we threw the pool chairs into the pool. Kept them from blowing away or causing damage.
That really makes sense. I have seen chairs in pools and I thought the storm did it.
My ear is hurting again. Regular Doctor office has no openings until Thursday. Damn ent wouldn't put the tube back in, and this is what happens. What do they care, they don't have to suffer. He doesn't even work in that office any more.
:hugs

You do so much you amaze and shame me! I'm doing good to walk my dog around the house three or four times a day! Please don't be so hard on yourself. You're like ... my hero.
Congrats on the shiny new badge!
Yes, Larry, @LTAY, Congrats!

What's that all about? By the way we got some real rain this morning. It started while I was out doing morning chores and I just got back to my coop when it became a rain instead of a sprinkle. Nothing like a rain to nap to.

Blue, thanks! But i am just a shadow of my former self. When we lived in TN, i worked all day. Had about 100 goats and 200 chickens, a bunch of quail, a few ducks, and 40 rabbits. We did an amazing amount of fencing the first year there. And the bulk of the property had been clear cut years before so there was a mountain of dead logs and brush to deal with. I can't tell you how many bonfires i lit after piling up a stack of logs , brush, and leaves. I am quite good at lighting fires. And planting forage as the pastures were cleaned up.
