Granny's gone and done it again

Many years ago one of my uncles was in town visiting him mom my grandma when she ran out of blackberry wine. She sent him to town for Mogan David Blackberry wine. Showed him the bottle. Well the store was out of Blackberry so he brought home a bottle of Mogan David Concord Grape wine. She lit into him for bringing liquor into her house. It had to be blackberry. I planted a lot of blackberries and hope that one day I can make some real blackberry wine of my own.

I got to help out today at one of our local Bread Sheds, it was crazy busy but a world of fun! After this our church will do it the 4th Sunday of every month now till November. They put me on beverages, mostly I filled cups with ice and made sure there were plenty of cups of lemonade and sweet tea. They knew I'd be no good serving (all that running around!) and I had a partner helping me. We made a great team and were able to keep caught up pretty good. We served chicken fajitas with mashed beans and rice and a side of coleslaw. When we got to eat, it was really good! I don't know how many we served but I'm sure it was close to 300 at least. I had a blast and can't wait to do it again.

Did you guys see where they are producing chicken meat ... in test tubes now? What do y'all think of this? Would you eat it? Is this a good thing, or not? Obviously it's still prohibitively expensive but they think it will be commonplace and cost-effective in just a few years. What think ye?

And when they have put enough farmers out of business and a great calamity befalls us they will be the first to blame the farmers. I can't say on here what I'm thinking....

I read a statement from another scientist saying something about the process requires a chemical of some sort, I can't recall but he said it was bad for you.
