I was really not able to tend to my chickens when a predator came and wiped them out. I was shocked to say the least but now I look at it differently. The peeps here helped me a lot getting through the pain and deciding to not repair my runs and get more. I hated it for a long time but now I see it was the right thing to do.They always look for another buck. Usually they try and tell me belts if I stop on the road for an oil change. Once they tried to pull that and I had a new belt that was still very new.
Good morning to everyone. I managed to get everyone fed and watered again. I have to consider selling all the chickens except for a few pets and research birds to lesson my walking. I want to keep my White Jersey Giants, Dark Cornish, and Bresse. The rest are easily replaced if I am ever able to care for them again.

Winter was the hardest for you. So sad not to be able to keep them, but I remember how bad you felt and the worry just trying to water them.I was really not able to tend to my chickens when a predator came and wiped them out.
