Granny's gone and done it again

Who told you twelve weeks? My late MIL was not down that long with hers. She had three. She wiggled around too much after her second one and it didn't heal right so she had to have it done again. Six weeks, tops before she was driving and running around again.
6 weeks per hip. Don't want both done at the same time.

Okra is one thing I never acquired a taste for. My dad used to grow it and ate it all the time. Tell me if the Trappeys is any good... maybe I can find him some.
You can get non breaded okra in the frozen food case sometimes. That cooks well with fresh tomatoes and onions. That may be a lot better than the canned okra and tomatoes.

They always look for another buck. Usually they try and tell me belts if I stop on the road for an oil change. Once they tried to pull that and I had a new belt that was still very new.

Good morning to everyone. I managed to get everyone fed and watered again. I have to consider selling all the chickens except for a few pets and research birds to lesson my walking. I want to keep my White Jersey Giants, Dark Cornish, and Bresse. The rest are easily replaced if I am ever able to care for them again.
I know the feeling. I had to do this a few years ago, then a couple of years ago, the pets went. I just can't do it anymore. So sorry.
