Keeping one RIR pet hen. Must buy some diapers for her as she is so special to us that I would like for her to be an indoor pet when I can't set with here out in the grass and watch over her. She loves to be held and talked to. She will be a year old in Sept. We've lost 4 pet hens this week to an unknown predator. All were roosting on a porch with lighting and had been doing so for months with no trouble. Racoon, bobcat, ?. Don't know what got them. Only the rooster and 2 hens left out of that bunch. Our Rosie girl has a box she stays in when not being held in the house now. Not going to lose that girl if humanly possible.
