Granny's gone and done it again

Not going to lie wishing, that’s why I wanted to be a two dog household.

I’m spinning today. It’s not a good day. I keep remembering when I got out of the truck earlier in the trail to get some pics and he was so mad I left him in the truck with hubs.

I keep thinking I should have overruled hubs and just had goose stay with our friends - though I didn’t like that idea much either at the time.

I should have listened to my gut instead of letting him drag me to this. But then, if I did, he would have been doing all this solo.

Big storm heading in. Radar is a wall of red coming our way and looks like there is enough to share among all the farmers here this time. The cotton, peanuts, and corn all need rain bad. I need the grass to get a drink to keep it tender for the chickens to eat easier. One little problem to solve soon is I've got at least 3 soon to be laying white giant pullets running wild. They haven't seen the inside of a coop in several days and it is time to reign them in. Hopefully before a bobcat or coon finds them. I may can lure them back into a coop that has some younger kids out running loose at feeding time and close the door and bam. Gotcha. It just got dark. really dark. Rain wasn't supposed to be here before 6..... Looks like I may be out in the rain but that beats heat stroke temps of earlier today. Y'all be good! Nah. It's no fun being good all the time.

Our temp dropped to 75° but no rain on us yet. We are surrounded like Custer at his Waterloo with rain though that is cooling us down. Rosie the house chicken took her diaper off and hid it. Typical kid huh? I want it to rain but hope I can shut the coops up without it storming on us. I can gather eggs in the morning but must close the coops up.
