Our chickens didn't get locked up last night and we lost one. It was Squats, the BA with weak legs that's been roosting on the floor. We set a trap tonight because we figured whatever got her will be back.

No. I have a rotary shredder that shreds it pretty fine and after it sits in the salt it's pretty soft. It's well worth the effort, these are really yummy! Gonna make these tomorrow I think.

When you prep the z this way, you can also parboil it a few minutes and then make pie out of it and it looks and tastes just like pumpkin pie. It is so good!
