One thing we strive to do is always look at the buy one get one sales of staple items that we can toss in the deep freeze. Bread is the #1 money saving item for that. Peanut butter also for the pantry. To bad there is not a way to save on bananas. Those 3 things are a breakfast stable for me. I need to start eating more egg sandwiches with all the eggs we have. Most all of our eggs get donated to needed causes.

Ok folks I'm going dark for a couple of hours probably. Feed, water, and a few minor fixes to do before dark. Hold the fort.

California folks are flocking to our state. It's caused houses to go up. Good for me..mine's now worth half a mil..younger folks on the other hand aren't able to afford a home. Plus Apts have gone sky high. People from California are saying that to buy a three bedroom home here is cheaper to buying a real run down one bedroom. Our food prices are better too. Our gas is cheaper..well everything is. Sad.

California folks are getting fleeced. The stories I could tell….

$3.60 here for now.

I have not seen gas that cheap for a very long time. 5.09 for premium, but on the other side of the freeway it was saying 5.39! (Both shells)

I ain't buying it. Gas is going up most every day now. I just don't trust reports like this one bit with rising prices.

Aww..I do..I'm seeing a difference. Our gas prices have dropped way lower. We were paying close to 6.00 dollars..sometimes a bit higher in 2021. Vegetables and fruit prices have come down..beef! Meat! Have come down. Soo..not sure what's going on your way.
