Y'all have fun today. I'm going for a nap until lunch time. I need to hang some feeders after lunch. Slow easy job and shouldn't get to hot.

Oh I wish. 92 realfeel of 101 at 10:33 am. We’re under excessive heat warnings, supposed to stay triple digits til Thursday. Ugh.Its a bit chilly this am. 66 but supposed to go to 80
While you are out that way I think you will be close to Crater Lake. It's a beautiful place. You can see it online and if you can what I remember as a short drive from Coos Bay. I was only 17 and my uncle was driving me and my younger brother seeing the sites. While at the docks at Coos Bay a teenage girl brought in a King Salmon that was almost as long as she was tall.Oh I wish. 92 realfeel of 101 at 10:33 am. Moving to costal Oregon is sounding real noice right about meow.
Countdown is on til our trip (that we can ill afford but oh well.)
Hubs is at the frustrated point of “we have to cool our heels for six weeks” well…this is kinda the only way we could swing it to not raise suspicions with work.
Me too. I remember him reminding us to spay and neutere our dogs. I was reading about a lot of different animals he helped with. Some zoos..he stopped dying his hair when he found out that some animal part was used to make it. Quite the animal lover.I was just coming to post this.
Sadness. He lived a nice long life and he really advocated for the animals. We grew up watching him. At least I did.
Pert. Up to 96 on Tuesday. You too. Good night
Is that a real spider web on the orange tree?Bwahaha did I tell you the latest doggo drama?
How I asked if there was a day I could do a “bring your Kira to work day” so the bosses could meet her. (Have to pre arrange it as their pibbie is VERY reactive)
And she says how she’s trying to bring pibbie in less since we signed up for dogs but Office people didnt, and she didn’t hear any complaints about goose but she knows some people are a little apprehensive of pibbie (well no crap. He’s good with me and other admin but has randomly raised heck through a door at one of our guesstimators walking by, and let’s not get started on the new admin we hired…)
(Meanwhile the results of take your Kira to work day when they were gone and other admin had to leave early were a resounding success, she was quiet, well behaved, and loved on by all)
Anyways. Speaking of miss Kira, she had her vet visit Friday - clean bill of health, we took her for a play date with Daisy (friends Bernese) which….she’s very submissive and a little nervous with Daisy especially at first but by the end they weren’t actively playing but they were coexisting alright so I’ll take that as a win. Just need to do more play dates I think.
Will for sure be looking into the group training classes for socialization purposes when we go for her grooming today. Can’t wait she’ll smell beautiful lol.
Still working on how to load her into the car. She doesn’t like getting picked up. Trying to get hubs to order some collapsible steps for the vehicles - crazy thing is the way my car’s hatch is…it’s the same distance height wise between it and the bronco. I found a set of steps that will work for under $100 on Amazon if he doesn’t order them soon (he has the prime) I’ll go rogue.
