Fawn just chewed my vacuum cord in half. Its the old one so I told Robert to toss it. I would of beat her tail with that cord if I could have caught her.

Still feels like 95° here. I went out with the Mule loaded with containers of water for the fruit trees. Lots of wild trees are losing leaves now.

from no rain or the heat? My locust tree loses all its leaves now. Its the only one though

I had to go out and water 5 peach trees that had been neglected. 2 were dead. Then water a few chickens in special areas or they would be dead. It was a 100° when I went out and it's still 98° and now we got to start planning for a hurricane. The storm has supposedly move some to east and will not make a direct pass over us now but still get some winds that will tryout the coops and dump a fast 1 1/2" of rain on us.

It is looking like around 7:30 there might be an evening shower forming right on top of us. We need it so bad I maybe should leave the windows down on the van tonight.
