Well those 2 and comets heifer were all in the rodeo ground ready to be loaded into the trailer for the trip to town. Mike was supposed to be by the trailer to shut the door. I got behind and pushed them forward , they shot thru the chute system like rockets and right into the trailer. Perfect I thought. NOPE Mike was NOT where he was supposed to be , so back out they came moving faster if possible and ran the Idiot right over. (good says I) Round 2

while trying to get them back over and start the process over again. Nugget and Grannys calves ran up to the hay feeder , climed in and then jumped over the fence and OFF they went. Loaded Comet's one and headed in for the appointment. Plan on keeping her and old gold's royal heifer from last year. Going to name her Bon Ami.

Comet's named calves so far, Hailey, Ajax, Kleansor, then I quit naming the bulls.

Get back to the farm , the other two are NO where to be seen. Thought after unloading Bon and gathering eggs. I will go the other direction and see if I can find/spot them.

Yep there they were about 1/2 way between Larry's and my place in the ditch. Go back to the farm and grab Mike. Have him drive the truck and I get the tractor out. Well by the time I caught up to Mike he had managed to drive them yet another 1/2 closer to the neighbors. Finally after about 6 miles and chasing them and and 2 hours we get them back into the big pasture with the main herd. They were so pooped out they could hardly walk fast and tongue's out father then I have ever seen. Honestly didn't care and Had I had a gun I would have shot them.
