I thought potassium was what was lacking if you had muscle cramps. Eat bananas and potatoes.I think magnesium is what will help. It's in the Gatorade. Magnesium can be bought at the pharmacy too. I would talk to the pharmacist about some. No prescription needed probably.
Definitely something different! Don't take milk of mag for muscle cramps, it will give you the gallops!I have milk of mag. Something different Im sure.
Have not seen that here but sounds yummy! We have a green GatorAde that is lime and cucumber flavor. Weird but satisfying. It grows on you.I drink fierce green apple flavor. Love it.

According to Mayo Clinic it is both Potassium and Magnesium. If someone is already on Potassium then it most likely is Magnesium. I eat a lot of bananas sometimes 3 a day and potatoes two. I also take prescription potassium. I still need the magnesium from the Calcium/Magnesium mineral tablets I take daily or I will cramp up. Quinine can be fatal?Years ago we could go the pharmacy and buy Qunine. That would stop cramps. Cheap and easy. l often wondered why they took it off the OTC availability. Well if we were fixing cramps with that when we really needed potassium and magnesium to keep our heart working it could be fatal....... food for thought.
