The way I have chickens that light on my shoulders I'm glad they don't bleed every month.

I've got all the coops closed up. One of the coops I've got all of the young pullets in tonight with just one young roo. All the other young roos are having to rough it. After losing 3 young pullets to those hoodlums they cannot be with the pullets their age again. I've got no place for them except for my deep freeze and that was the intent when we put the eggs in the incubator. It was not intended that my wife would no longer be able to work with me processing then or anything else involving any of the chickens. It's gonna be a one man show processing them starting Monday.

I got sick to my stomach and took a zofran for it then a little while later I felt my sugar dropping. I guess thats why I was sick. It was a whopping 52. Sugar water and soup and now the headache. I just cant win.

I know. I took my meds like I was supposed to this morning and nearly fell a couple of times. One time as a neighbor was leaving and I was going outside to start back to working on a coop I staggered like a drunk going out the door and he caught me or I would have had a hard landing. My wife got me to the bed and in it and I didn't know the world was turning for almost 3 hours. I skipped on of the meds at noon. Pain from a nerve can be so bad without the nerve pill but when I take it I just need to sleep. No you can't win some days.

It would be so much easier if I had a feather plucking appliance. They can pluck 4 a minute. Right now I don't have the dollars to invest in one.

Dogs only bleed every 6 months
