That's a factory farm raised bird. Mine are real old fashioned Rhode Island birds now.

That was my GS first chicken. He did everything himself. Tickled me he wore gloves so he didnt get blood on his hands and it was splattered all over his face.

Hows your visit going? I didnt grow up with a few of my sisters either. They all left home youngish.

I was 10 when I had my first chickens. At 12 I was butchering. No gloves. Didn't splatter any blood with the hatchet.
