I just had some crackers with cream cheese and a green olive . It was good. I guess that was dinner. Earlier it was a hotdog. I better be losing some weight. Im eating like a bird. Well, not a chicken, those bad boys eat a lot!

It's a wild green. Grows all over out here, but I never saw it in CO or NM. Very popular here. Made me sick as a dog the first time I had it so never again! Google says boil it twice and throw the waters away, then fry in bacon grease. Best when young, I guess but since we don't pick it, it gets over six feet high.

I feed mind twice a day. .owning. Treat early afternoon, then at 5 or 6. Then, a small bit around 10. My Gracie needs to eat something at night before bed or she gets real sick. I portion this out that is working for them. Not one of them is over weight.

Mine get half a ration at six am, then the other half somewhere around noon or 1 pm. Whenever Sammy decides to stand and stare expectantly at me, using his intense powers of ESP to control my mind as he thinks, "FEEED THE DOOOOGS" as hard as he can.

I think your supposed to boil it at least 3xs. Its too bitter to suit me.

Maybe it was 3x. All I know is, my late MIL boiled it once and served it. She said it was fine. I tried a little and had horrible gut pain afterward, like a gall bladder attack. But I had my gall bladder out ten years earlier.
