FL citrus has been hit with two disease killing thousands of acres. Every time they replant the new trees are dead before making a mature tree often. I've seen some new trees being planted in a tunnel like green house of fabric. I don't know how that is working out but it adds to costs. There really just isn't the supply there used to be. Many years ago citrus buyers for small growers would make the rounds telling the growers that California has a bumper crop this year trying to lower the price they had to pay. My home county at the time had more citrus than all the other citrus growing states combined. You could take a drive and see thousands upon thousands of acres of green trees. Not anymore.

Been a bad year in cali too - due to the wet winter.

well since I write MANY more checks than that plus all the deposits and have a B.S. in accounting and a PHD in robbing from Peter to pay Paul

Got more stuff gone through, and stuff donated - more stuff to still go for donations. Going to be crazy once we get back - honestly I'm so stressed. Just found out from the MIL she's got an alimony hearing 30th-31st she'll be with us....so we get back from our trip on a sunday, next weekend will be desert opening/halloween, get back from that, the next day is a visit from the MIL, then it'll be about two weeks before MY parents show up....oi...the chaos. the absolute chaos. AND if we end up listing the house after we get back from our trip....

So yesterday I went to a friends for some coffee. Kira was left to her own devices. Took these screenshots from a vid hubs took. Doesn’t she look proud of herself??




This was today. I left her in the yard to get her used to being left outside when I go to work (since I’m back to ft office next week).

I dont think leaving her outside is a good idea although I dont know what you would do with her short of day care or bringing her with you.

Doggy daycare is freaking expensive down here. Can't afford it. Only other option is leaving her in her crate all day - granted I did that with Peach when she was in her destructive phase, but that's a long time to hold a bladder.
