Granny's gone and done it again

no culling this morning? How do you cull your chickens anyway?
Not yet. Maybe this afternoon. It's not culling. These are young roosters we raise for food for us. We wanted fryers but now they are dumpling boys. To old for fryers now. Heath issues put a slow down on harvesting them. I have 2/3 of them in a coop now. They were all running loose until I started catching them last night when they roosted.
 
Culling actually means eliminating some that are not performing like they should or aren't good for laying or they just don't make the grade. They might be sold or used for meat. Not always killed. All of mine make the grade if I needed a rooster but I need meat and that was their intended purpose.
