I think so if you hand pollinate them. When put in rolling planters and put outside with bees when in bloom you wouldn't have too. I don't remember their blooming season. You can check with Stark Bros. Nursery out of MO for details on them. There is also a small sour type of orange that I eat peel and all. They can be used in making sauces for cooking on the grill poultry too. Calamondins. (spelling)/love them. They will set fruit?
Kumquats are long instead of round. Very sweet. Some seeds. Eat peel and all raw of course. Spit the seeds out or take them out.Kumquats? The tiny oranges?
so I would need 2 to pollinate them. Im not able to roll one outside.I think so if you hand pollinate them. When put in rolling planters and put outside with bees when in bloom you wouldn't have too. No just one tree I think. I'll have to check. Most fruit trees are self pollinating. You only have to move the pollen with a Qtip from one place to another to get them to pollinate. You have to do the work of the bee. Apple trees are known to have two different trees to pollinate. That may be what you are remembering.so I would need 2 to pollinate them. Im not able to roll one outside.
