Granny's gone and done it again

Yes you can, but they taste much better roasted and salted!
Noooo. Ruins em, Precious!

Brining is a technique in which chicken or other meat is soaked in a brining solution for a period of time before it is cooked. Over the years, I’ve tried different formulations of brine. However, I keep coming back to this basic recipe which includes only three ingredients: Kosher salt, granulated sugar, and water.

Of course I leave out the sugar but add other spices. Like rosemary
How much of each for a chicken? Guess I could google. Made bbq chicken in the crock pot the other day, GirlChild's fave method: put five thawed thighs in the pot, cover with bbq sauce, turn on low and cook for six hours. Easy and good! I sliced an onion in the bottom and put some sauce with them so they wouldn't stick. Good stuff.
Im ok I guess. Went to walmarts and Tom fell while I was gone. Said he had a hard time getting back up. His knee was raw.
Where was Robert? 😟

How was your day Blue?
A good day! The morning was taken up by a church business meeting. Then Dh watched a video showing how to set up a laser machine he got that will cut patterns and designs in different materials; I slept through that. Then we watched movies with the GC. She put a frozen lasagna in the oven, yum.
