Trying to figure out why my young male goat is suddenly lame. Been reading. Maybe laminitis, idk. Seems a bit young for that. I have several ideas on what to try.

No. I've had tennis elbow in my right elbow for about 6 months and it looks like I'm going to have to go and get that shot again. First time I had to have that shot was about 30 years ago. I thought I could try and rest it but it is just not working. That's just the start of the aches and pains today.

I got some things done outside but the main thing is waiting for me tomorrow. It's getting dark here so I had better go out and close up the coops and gather eggs.

I am ok. I soaked the goat's front feet in warm epsom salts water, trimmed his feed, put iodine on his feet. I spent quite a while picking leaves for the three male goats.

So far, electrolytes, vitamins, meloxicam and all the leaves in one bucket. And i soaked his front feet in epsom salt water. I put iodine on his worst foot, but i need to buy more. Trimmed his feet too. They didn't look bad to me. He's not that old.

Cap one of the jobs I hated while working on a cattle ranch was trimming feet. Trimming feet on a ton plus bull takes on a new meaning of trimming toe nails.

Tom has pus running down his leg with his sock being soaked. Sore on leg. He wont go to er. I cleaned it best I could. He has been telling me for 2 days he didnt feel well.

What needs to work is a trip to the ER... Before he gets gangrene. I lost a middle aged cousin to gangrene.... It's real and not just something in old cowboy movies.
