Granny's gone and done it again

Most churches won't give out cash due to people abusing the gift, using the money for drugs or alcohol. They might give vouchers or gift cards, or take you shopping, or bring you groceries. Some charities may operate the same way, I don't know.
We have a bishops storehouse. Like a market. They will let you go in and get stuff. Of course it all ha to be cooked. No all ready prepared food or frozen food.

Good morning Granny Land. Going to be a beautiful day here now that the bad fog has about all lifted. It's the last day of summer here at 85° this afternoon. High tomorrow is 61° and it's looking like frost Wed and Thur mornings. I'm going to town soon and get a pumpkin if I can find one. I want to see if any of my birds can figure out how to carve it.
Wait til after Halloween. Then they are cheap

Granny my son is on his way to his brother's place in TX before going on to Ft. Worth, TX. When he is around I don't want him around anything that could cause an infection of any kind. He had a blood cancer and a lot of chemo and finally a bone marrow transplant about 12 years ago. Basically he has very little immune system. My DIL made some rounds with me to speed them up and gathered eggs. She grew up on a MO farm and they had chickens. She remembers the old way of plucking chickens. That was one of her childhood jobs. She even moved a few bags from storage to the cans by the coop doors for me. Today I moved only two to cans. Any hoot I'm taking a rest break before I go to town delivering eggs and getting some much needed leak stopper for a pair of 5 gallon fountains.

Granny to y'all ever do a pancake or waffle supper? We do about once a month. Tasty and we get to use some extra eggs that way. Does Robert like pancakes? I wouldn't think that there would be any bad fibers in them. Flour is ground fine. There are fruit flavored syrups that don't have actual fruit in them that he may like. I don't know. I'd check with his doc before using the fruit syrups. It's to bad he doesn't like or just won't eat a fried eggs sandwich. That is how I get my eggs. I don't like eggs but will eat a fried egg sandwich once a week. There is no fear of eating up the egg profits by me. :)
