Granny's gone and done it again

Oops! Doesn't the coffee keep you awake?
Nah. I don't need coffee to keep myself awake. My mind goes like a runaway train most nights. I am more of a twilight sleeper than a sound restful sleeper. Been that way for 50 years now.

Goodnight again. I'm off to my roost.

I stopped soda a good while back. My a1c was 4.2 sugar drops. Ive always had problems with them. Part of my adrenal problem. Roberts is very high. He cut back on the soda but not enough. He needs to stop.
He still drinks soda?

My first husband had leukemia and got a bone marrow transplant from one of his brothers in 1993. I think he died in 2019 or so, so pretty good results from that. He actually died from complications of Parkinson's.

I can't knead either, Cynthia. I now bake sourdough, it's so much easier, no kneading required. It does take two days to make, as it's a long, slow rise, but I really love it. It also has only about 10% of the gluten, as most of it gets digested during that slow rise. If you go to the thread titled "Any Home Bakers Here?" you'll find several who bake SD, and @ronott1 is the head guru of SD baking there. He will be more than happy to send you a dried sourdough starter (SDS) along with instructions and recipes! Most of us have gotten our starts from him. Sourdough is EASY and DELICIOUS.
Yes, I've been on that thread, and Ron does like to cook and bake. :) I used to love sourdough..not so much anymore. 🤷‍♀️. Taste buds have changed in my old age.

I grew up with just butter and a dusting of powdered sugar. I can’t stand my pancakes or French toast with syrup. Way to sweet for me.
Bronwyn made French toast tonight. I had one. I can't eat too much sugar. I put barely a spot of syrup on it, spread it out, just enough for me.
