My dogs have strong prey drive. I never knew chickens could fly so well. Upside is my dogs keep almost all predators away. Foxes have spotted down the road.

The dogs I have now seem to have no interest in them except as Pez candy dispensers. Jenny, the Golden, ignores them when they are clustered, but I did catch her stalking a single bird once. I just told her NO! and she came out of her trance and looked sheepish. Have not seen her do it since.

She's been going out on her own lately. Except late at night and first thing in the morning. Still, it's progress!

We have foxes around that have three youngsters.
