I'd like a pen of 8 of those FBCM ladies with a couple of handsome Gents. The two Gents would be alternated weekly with the ladies. Then again maybe 12 ladies in two groups of 6 and each has their own leading man watching over them.

Skynet made a choice. Luckily our realtor was able to track him down and untangle him. Have two showings today - it’s a husband-wife team so he showed the house while she wrangled Kira for the first one today. Also had the open house yesterday. Whee.

I almost overdid myself today. Captain “helping” with wood cutting today by keeping an eye on me. At one point towards the end of my time out there Captain kinda climbed into my lap every time I squatted to pick up an arm load of wood. I’m thinking he sensed that I had done enough for the day.

Bowser is “helping” by protecting the truck, actually it’s his favorite spot while waiting on me.

The stump of a mulberry tree that I cut. The white milky looking liquid is the sap of the tree. It was even a tad sticky.

That's a scary picture now. 50 years ago I was always in the middle of it. We put food on the table some winters cutting and delivering fire place wood to quite a few really nice customers. I tried to treat them really well. One evening as we got back in the house my oldest son probably 9 or 10 at the time says to him mom, "Mom, dad sure has a way with the old ladies".

Potatoes for supper, purple and white ones. The second picture is mashed with a healthy amount of real butter. I like em’ almost swimming in butter.

I've never grown the purple ones but have seen them in the stores. I'd like mine boiled in butter.
