Granny's gone and done it again

Evening, folks.

With rolls reversed and my wife out doing coop chores I'm as nervous as a prostitute sitting on the front pew during a hell fire and damnation sermon.
You probably worry about her...

They gave him ativan to calm him down and Norco (hydrocodone and tylenol) for the pain. It worked fairly well. It's not something you want to take for the long term.
Hello, Rambling Iris, welcome to Granny's! :frow from SE Missouri. Glad you joined us!

Yes I am. Chief cook, bottle washer, chicken helper and nurse.
You are truly welcome here! :hugs

I think I told you I sold two loaves of sourdough bread to two of DH's c-workers yesterday? I had included with each order a slice of my sourdough French bread as a sample. Well today they each ordered a loaf of the French bread, and another lady requested a loaf of the regular sourdough. I'm gonna be a busy baker tomorrow and Thursday! 😄

Larry, I love making sourdough because it doesn't require kneading. My shoulders are shot and I cannot knead bread like I used to. Sourdough takes two days to make, as it rises overnight on the counter, but it is easy. It also has only about 10% of the gluten of yeast-raised bread, and (to my mind at least), way better flavor and texture.

It's the kneading my wife can no longer do. I think there are other things she wants to do with the machine. I want the sourdough because I love it. She has a starter in the fridge now I think. Lots of pretty molds for it too. I think she used to finance King Arthur.
