I have 5-6 blanks I made up for rolling pins. Walnut and maple alternating layers. No wood lathe and haven't found anyone that turns locally around her yet. I will one day soon I hope.
They are for French style rolling pins.

I love the pound cakes made with our fresh eggs but the sugar content I need to avoid. The cost of baking with Splenda is prohibitive. Fruit and nut breads seem to be an answer for tasty treats. I feel like a nut anyway most days.
