this afternoon he has been some better. He looks like hell though. I think it was the burger he had.If he can’t keep down any fluids he needs to to ER.

Was it well done....? Jack in the Box killed people with burgers not well done... Remember?this afternoon he has been some better. He looks like hell though. I think it was the burger he had.
Not if they're salted, Larry?I want them all. My chickens need them.
Hospice would ease the burden for you, too, Granny! You need respite and the support of having a team to help you. Do you have Medicaid? I think they have a program where you can hire anyone you want, even a friend or family menber and they will pay them to help you. They actually work for you, not an agency. Would that help you any?Your husband is an adult, but has dementia. You could call an ambulance, but it might cost you a lot. Maybe he really doesn't want to live. But dying without hospice can be very painful and miserable.
He's got SS right? He can be put on Hospice. They will do it..here in Utah...when they're older like Tom and you being in the health you're in..or of course in our case where someone had an illness. They will go 2 years at a time then up the contract. No more going to a dr. No more paying for meds. They have their own dr and nurses. Nurse came out to see Scott. Watched how meds were being tolerated..the ones he had been on already. Eventually we stopped a couple. It wouldn't hurt to check and see. If he really does have dementia there shouldn't be a problem. Call around to different Hospice care places. Again, wouldn't hurt to check. Things are going to get worse before........Well I got up to go wash and fixed my coffee and had to sit back down. My back...
Yes! I had that before Hospice!Granny Medicare used to cover some in home nursing. I know that as fact as my wife was a home heath nurse for a number of things. They will even pay a CNA to help with bathing and such. Even some work in the torture chamber...Ask the medicare ins agent. Not the doc first. We have to start with the ins agent now to see what is covered and then get a script from the doc. No use to bother the doc if ins doesn't cover it. Everything changes as coverage does from one year to the next.
