I was thinking about making something but dont know how. I have summer sausage, tomatoes, canned of course, rice and veggies. Oh and beef broth Do I cook the rice by itself and everything else in a pot or?? Ive never made rice like this before. I make chicken and rice but thats supposed to be soupy.

Granny you can just warm some of the summer sausage with an onion and a can of tomatoes and serve that over the rice cooked by itself. Minimal time in the torture chamber.

Do like Larry said and when the sausage, onion and tomatoes are hot, throw the veggies in for a few minutes until they are hot. Serve all that over the rice. Sounds yummy to me!

Oh, you could cook the rice in the broth actually instead of in water. Don't salt the rice, the broth will be salty enough.
