Clay soils hold nutrients well and leach very little. They grow very good gardens usually with a little work. No garden does well unless the grower is in love with the soil and the new life that come from the soil each new season.no, its well, I dont know what color it is. Between yellow and red maybe. Go deep and its grey.
I had a nice one and got mad and chopped it down.Speaking of trees you may could grow some really good peaches there.
Granny I've seen corn fields in Indiana that were exceptional. And parts of Indiana had black clay soil where I went once for a Farm Progress Show.Indiana Clay is a deep, pure, autumnal orange with a pumpkin spice undertone. It is a perfect paint color for an exercise room.
