I'm about to leave like a tree. My drive is a long one for the riding mower but won't be bad in the Van. 5 miles each way without any expressway crazies on the road here. Just small town highway and I'm about 2 miles outside of town.

We had to search for the entrance, it's not where you would expect it to be, at the base of one of the legs. Nope, it's kind of underground. After wandering around a bit and asking random strangers, we finally found this sign. Which, once you find it, you're already almost there.

Around this curve we go ...

... and now we can see the arch as we prepare to walk underneath it!

It stopped uploading pics. Continuing on. Did I, Larry? I don't remember. Getting as bad as Granny.

Here's a view of the city below.

We met another Adventist family from Tennessee.

This guy has been standing below the arch for something like 13 years. He'll gladly talk to people and answer questions about God and the Bible. It was an interesting day.

Made my town run and got all the feed bins filled in the coops. Chickens are happy and I'm going to rest until it's time to lock them down for the night.
