Granny's gone and done it again

I got the skinny low down on the Deer Corn today from the CoOp where I buy my chicken feed. Now this is for here in AL only. Each state controls their own wildlife. Some forms of wildlife are Federal and treaty controlled. Deer are state. I've got a patch of timber big enough to hunt deer on and I can put out deer corn and take deer to eat from it legally as long I as buy a state permit to do so. I thought to ask when someone was inquiring as to how much a ton of Deer Corn cost. $275 + 10% tax. I may just out to buy 10 50lb bags and fatten a few up next year.

Concerning dumb wildlife laws. Some years back my mom was livid one day when I picked her up to take her to a docs appointment. She was one click short of a straight jacket. She has seen on the news where a father in TX had built a cement retaining wall around his backyard so his kids could safely play and not get bitten by rattlesnakes. The feds made him take it down because it was illegal to impede the movent of the rattlesnakes.

Hmmm. Don't the walls of his house also impede the movements of said snakes? And, in fact, any and all walls in the entire state? Yup, dumb law. Sorry, TX.
