We have lots of okra waiting for a skillet now. Grew a big bumper crop in 2022. None this year. Chicken took all of my time. This coming season I'm going to plant a patch 3X what we had in 2022. Wife has developed a process with her dehydrator where she can store it dry and fry it when wanted. I like fried chicken, fried okra, and potato salad. Every so often just need a meal that will stick to my ribs.

In addition to the okra we got to have sweet potatoes to do in the air fryer to go with burgers done on the grill. I just finished a big bowl of chili over rice and now I'm craving fried chicken.

Me too. In fact I quit talking to my DH sometimes just to prevent arguements.

In TN I couldn't stop the damage from these pesky deer. Here I can eliminate them and eat them.
