Oh, that would be Shinju. Well, she looks like Ming the way a Sumo wrestler looks like the character in Karate Kid. She's an absolute tank. But we've developed a strategy to cut down on her caloric intake. She only gets food in her dish at night, and not much of that. And my GirlChild is doing the same with her cat, with her door closed at night, so Shinny can't raid her cat's dish during the day. Our Shinny is a glutton!
We have a lot of Black Widows here. They hide, anywhere. Our window wells, under the cement cracks. The fallen leaves. Killed a huge one crawling across the back patio. Ashton was only 3/12 then. I hear, hey Nanny come see this bug. I'm thinking he's seeing ants. I couldn't believe my eyes. Huge! Ive seen a lot too. She was hustling to a window well. Looked pregnant. I told Ashton he did good not pick that bug up. Sprayed it.
