According to my Gramma it is bad luck to eat chicken on New Year’s Day, because they scratch backwards and if you do you’ll be going backwards all year long. You must eat pork, because pigs root forward with their snouts. We can’t handle another year like 2023, so no chicken. Please!

What do you eat for good luck on New Years???....

thats a new one on me. I like it!
 
I'm guessing about 7 months. The youngest of a pair of roosters that I got for re-homing. This shot puts him in a better light and perspective for size. He just jumps to the top of his pen fence and then drops over for his freedom.

I wouldn't mind having one of these around for rodent control. Aseels are good hunters. Does he crow a lot?
