I've heard of them but never seen a live one. I think Legs is on track to reach 10-12 lbs. He has a frame and is dense. His feathers lay flat like a Dark Cornish bird does.

Bantam Cornish is the closest thing to a KoShamo that I know of. Sturdy birds.

You can tell by looking at Legs that he is a substantial bird. Nothing fragile about him!

That is exactly why I'm toying with the idea of getting another dog as companion for Pi. He is neurotically attached to me. Howls and whines if I leave the house, even when there are still 3 loving family members here with him. It's pretty extreme. Another velcro dog would be double trouble.
I need to find a dog that bonds with Pi instead of me.

I've already been investigating just that possibility. Smooth or frazzle or both...............
