I have fell a few times in my life but this was the big one. One arm all bloody looking. One breast bigger then the other now. Knee cap looks white and skinned up both of them broke my glasses.

Usually right after the pullets start laying full size eggs there are a lot of doubles. We got one triple. That's nowhere near the record size. We could set early Cornish cross eggs because to many where double yolk eggs.

Yes. Don't set multiple yolk eggs because getting one to hatch if like finding a hen's tooth.

I used to love helping mine hatch. Even when it wasnt needed. I got over that pretty fast though. I sure do miss them.

Put red heat lamps in both coops tonight to keep everyone's water from freezing. Gonna be a c-c-c-cold one! Single digits by dog-walking time, 5 am, and cold all day tomorrow. Snow coming around noon and continuing till midnight. Brrr!
