I slept until 5 pm today. Got to stop spending so much time on the internet.

evening folks. Well I have hot water in the kitchen sink (at the moment) All the Christmas stuff got put away today and did some bookwork. Made dinner for Miss Vicki and myself.

2 jars of home canned sauerkraut and some sliced homegrown onions in bottom of the crock pot, tossed in some porkchops a little salt and some black pepper. Did the second to last Z squash in the oven with some butter , S & P. That pickles and a glass of milk was dinner.

current temp -18* and -51* with wind chill. Still an improvement over last night.

I think trigger finger is when you bend your finger and can't get it to unbend.

trigger and idex finger are the same thing I believe.

a married couple were arguing over who should get out of their nice warm bed and make coffee. Finally, the wife folder her arms and said "You have to make the coffee, Its' in the Bible!"
The husband was shocked. "Is not ! Show me!"

Pulling out her Bible, the wife opened it to one of the New Testament books and declared, "It says right here -- HEBREWS!"

ASocial Security spousal rule that has been around for decades officially ends this year for everyone except those who turned 70 on Jan. 1, 2024. The rule allows recipients to switch between their benefits and their spouse’s to receive the maximum amount. But unless you were born before Jan. 1, 1954, you won’t be able to take advantage.

doesn't affect me BUT maybe you should check into that Granny.

I turned 70 last year. Can I collect on my husband's SS? And he can still collect his, too? That sounds too good to be true but if it is true he could quit working.
