BBL Got to go and candle the eggs that are in the incubator. Anxious about what I'm going to find.

It appears enough of my silkie eggs are going to hatch to give me the broody mamas I am after. The really big eggs I set are for the most part infertile. I'll have to AI those huge hens I guess. I think the rooster is trying but he's just going through the motions of getting the job done.

11 days from now. Maybe a dozen or one or two more. Just hope they are not all roosters.

I turned 70 last year. Can I collect on my husband's SS? And he can still collect his, too? That sounds too good to be true but if it is true he could quit working.

I did at 63. I decided to call and say I wanted to start mine. We get going on things, then she asked me if I was collecting on my husband's. I said no, he's alive. She says you can still collect from his. What? She asks some questions, my husband is sirting right there, she does her figuring then tells me how much I'll be getting more than my measly. I couldn't believe it! Not until the check came!

I think trigger finger is when you bend your finger and can't get it to unbend.

And it hurts.

trigger and idex finger are the same thing I believe.

Mine is my middle finger often considered the naughty finger when used during anger. I have to hope no one thinks I'm doing just that if I happen to turn my hand upside down while talking with my hands..as I do seem to a lot.

Yep. Got a cortisone shot a few months back. It's helped a lot, until the past few weeks. Hurts pretty bad now.

ASocial Security spousal rule that has been around for decades officially ends this year for everyone except those who turned 70 on Jan. 1, 2024. The rule allows recipients to switch between their benefits and their spouse’s to receive the maximum amount. But unless you were born before Jan. 1, 1954, you won’t be able to take advantage.

doesn't affect me BUT maybe you should check into that Granny.

I was born in 53. I got it started years ago.
