I didn't have to haul water but had a lot of trouble hauling my carcass from coop to coop. Collected 3 days worth of frozen eggs to scramble for the girls breakfast and lunch tomorrow. It's been so cold that I can't get the arthritis in my fingers under control.

I still am waiting for the stitches in my mouth to dissolve. Really hate losing teeth.

Ow, Cap. I'm still waiting for my mouth to heal too. Still on a soup and soft foods diet. Yay.

I'm beginning to worry if my outdoor water lines that supply our chickens is going to thaw out today.

We have outdoor frost-free spigots for watering our chickens too. Guess what. The one outside our back door is actually frozen. I did not know that was even possible. I haven't checked the other two. I'm afraid to. I think if they stay dry they'll be okay.

Granny, we're getting freezing rain starting tonight and continues all day tomorrow. And then it keeps raining but starts warming up. I think that continues Wednesday through Friday, with highs in the 50's. So weird.
