Granny have you tried getting SS from Tom's? I think we wrnt through this before but can't remember. If you're on SSI then you couldn't add to that..but, you could call and see what it would be. But again..if you are on SSI your getting medical insurance that you wouldn't want to lose.

Cynthia, thank you for your advice along these lines! I called SS. Cannot collect on DH#1 bc I remarried before age 60, but I can get some of current DH's which will certainly help. Not as much as we had hoped, but every little bit helps for sure. Thanks again! It's not retro but the new amount starts with my next check, in Feb. Bless you!

Love it Star. What do you do when Kira gets the zoomies?

Luckily where we’re staying is fully fenced. So she can zoom outside. Crazy thing is she’s zoomie-Ing right now. Full husky mode. Sigh. The tenants in the adu though have a <4 month old golden retriever mix so they get to play together sometimes. Our friends (who own the property) have two chiweenies who are grumps though. She keeps trying though!

The problem I see is if the offer to buy you new glasses that is like admitting guilt and they might see that opening them up to a mega lawsuit.... If you had a friend that is a lawyer then they need to represent you pro bono... I think that is how they say that. If you don't collect they don't charge.

Check with your optometrist too. I know mine warranties lenses if they get scratched within a certain timeframe. Worth a try anyway.
