Granny's gone and done it again

SO you older people just what are skin tags ?? Just skin/cells that suddenly decide to grow new appendages randomly on your body. It aint right I tell you.
Yes but age has nothing to do with it. I've had skin tags since I was a teen.

Lots of conditions we develop are not right. I have scleroderma, which means I have thick abnormal patches of skin. Also old age spots. I also have eczema, reddish, splotches that itch sometimes. When I went to my regular doctor, she ordered a heart monitor applied. So the nurses cleaned my skin on the chest ( where my eczema is worst) , then sanded it ( literally) with sand paper. Thanks so much for that. Then, they wipe it with alcohol! It burns! And once it dried, the put the sticky adhesive patches on that adhere to the skin. Did I mention I am allergic to tape on my skin? Yes, it's red and itchy. Plus I have this obsession where I can't stand abnormal things on my skin. I totally want to rip it off. My husband says it feels worse as time goes by. I can hardly wait! 🤣
Oh, Cap, how awful! How long do have to wear the monitor?

I am tired but a good kind of tired. Lots of progress today with a critical design problem in past coops fixed in this new one. Hopefully we put the top on tomorrow and install the door. Still have to build nest boxes. Until then the girls will have to make do with 5 gallon buckets. I think I'm going to stand the buckets up instead of the usual way of having them on their side and see if I fill them 3/4 full and make a nest in them with an egg in them if see if the girls will take the hint. Hope everyone had a good day.

Oh you know. Watching laundry dry.

There’s a top in there that’s taking forever to dry. IMG_3912.jpeg

Getting the Gems and Eggers into the Big House was easier tonight but still took some effort on our part. Poor little lost souls! I had blocked access to their former brooder and its surrounding pen all day, so they had access to the Big House and its run all day, plus the free range area, as they have had for several days. All day they've been in and out of the Big House. But at dusk, they wanted back in the brooder. DH and I called and cajoled, encouraged and drove them into the Big House, and once in they settled right down. One of them even got up on the roost - and the big girl she parked next to didn't object! They're getting the idea. Soon they won't need our assistance.
