Which is also Ash Wednesday the start of lent.

It was nice today during the day, but I stayed indoors. Then tonight when I went to check the critters, it was 28° out there. I wish it would stop freezing at night. It was nice to have the wood stove going.

It was 33° here this morning. How is a southern boy supposed to get anything done in weather like this?

The flannel shirt fiasco got fixed yesterday so all is well. Going to get her a box of chocolate covered cherries to day while she is at the dentist. Next Tuesday TSC is suppose to have baby chicks so I need to get all my shopping done there before then.

Made a few errands. Ma needed oxygen, stopped to get an auto ins quote, picked up a handful of supplies from Walmart, and especially important was a DQ stop for milk shakes. Well return to DQ this time next year hopefully. The milkshake was lunch today. Now it's nap time.
