Granny's gone and done it again

It's suppose to rain here in the morning so we are going tire shopping. First stop will be Costco. Then Firestone. Would like to get some local if I can find a place that is honest. I have a contact that I can ask for local information like this.
 
I need to clean out the Cornish's brooder, wish I could do it today because I'll have decent weather early in the day, but I need DH to bring me a bag of shredded paper from the bank tonight. So maybe I can do it tomorrow.

Have been getting 6 to 9 eggs a day. Have about 8 doz in the fridge. Will be washing and boxing them today, have a customer or two.
 
We are trading some of our eggs for fertile silkie eggs. Dozen per dozen. That's good for both of us. I want more silkie brood hens to raise chicks with instead of incubator chicks. Once I get my Cornish Cross meat girls bred to my big Dark Cornish rooster I'll have 3/4 Cornish x 1/4 White Rocks that can breed naturally and lay eggs for the silkies to hatch. We will be fixed for essential meat. Next I need to build a calf pen with a weather proof shelter that is big enough he (it) can exercise some. Ground beef and a few of the best tender steaks in a 21+ cubic foot freezer and we are a lot more self reliant. Neighbor across the road has cattle and I do business with his son so maybe I can get calf from him when he is ready to market them. I have room to grow a lot of calf feed to make the meat a lot cheaper.

Where is everyone tonight. Lot's of people must have a fork in motion about now except for Twist.... He eats late. We have a little something just before bed with or meds. Can't take those on an empty stomach. I prefer chocolate pudding. Last night it was cookies and cream Ice Cream. I think we have had ice cream once now in about 6 months. It is so addicting we just walk on by it when shopping for groceries. Chocolate pudding kills the bad taste of the nasty tasting B Complex we take. That was prescribed for us both when we had covid the first time so now we take it as a preventive measure. Ok it's time to get the ticker counting. Granny will soon have a half million posts on her thread. That is amazing.
