Granny's gone and done it again

These have been one of my favorite occasional treats. Diabetic, can't have them any more. My new favorite snacks are veggie spears with ranch dip, made with Greek yogurt and mayo, not sour cream.
All great options, except I seldom use any dips.
I love yogurt, especially the ones without excessive sugars.
I'm on a journey of eating more and more "clean", avoiding certain oils, highly processed foods, commercial sweets and salts etc. . .
I have always been very much of a meat eater, the desire to eat meat is slowly waning away as well.
I think my taste buds are being reconstructed to only want what is actually good for the body.

Consequently I have less and less desire for junk foods.
 
Are snacks okay anytime of the day?
Not for me. I have something called gastroparesis, or slow digestion. Takes 5 hours for me to digest food. So best for me to wait a full 5 hours at least between meals. You get used to it. I feel a lot better since I started doing that.
