It was 29° this morning and I think never got over 45. Going to be 28 tomorrow morning but going up to over 60. Crazy weather!

Well I'm bummed. M 2020 Santa Fe, with only 4,476 miles on it..wouldn't start for me today after driving to get a haircut, then over to Walmart, then to a daughter's house. I was going to leave my daughter’s house with Jane since she wasn't feeling well. My Mindi takes care of Austin and Bronwyn's little ones. Car wouldn't start. Went to get my husband's fob. It's been sitting for about three years, no use during then. It didn't work either. Take Jane home. Mindi takes me to get new batteries. Still wouldn't start. Call the Hyundai place. They give me a number. Triple A comes pretty quick. I watch my almost new car take off into the sunset piggy back a trailer. A guy called from the Hyundai place asking what happened. Told him. They've been great to keep in touch. I told him the milage and I know I had to sound pretty..sad. Not mad. He says now wait, it just might be something dumb. He said that. I guess he meant..easy. Oh boy. My car should still be under warranty. But..it is 3 and a half years down the road regardless of miles. I'm thankful it happened at my daughter's home. I wouldn't have liked being stuck in Walmart's parking lot. Austin did show up early..was going to pick up Jane after work. He's sick. Got it from Ashton. I'm hoping I do t get sick now. Surgery set for next Monday. If I get sick, guess I'll have to put the date later. Goodness.

Well. Something easy. Fingers crossed.

Two old guys in a truck got lost in my driveway this afternoon. We're at the end of the road. I couldn't help them find the person they were looking for but I stood out there talking to them for about 20 minutes just shooting the breeze. The passenger admired my chickens, saying I had some pretty expensive birds. I didn't really understand him, he said it in a joking way. Turned out he meant what they're getting for laying hens at the sale barn. I don't really know exactly how much that is but I'm guessing around $25. Tonight I put a padlock on my hen house. I don't know if this guy meant any harm, but ... I don't know these guys. And a gal on another thread recently said she lost 50 birds in two nights out of her hen house with no evidence left behind. No blood, no feathers, no bodies. She only had a barrel bolt locking them in and it was still bolted in the morning. Hmmm.

Well. Hubs is officially a kept man. He rage quit today. He darned well better start packing my lunches and making my coffee now.

I might have raged quit back in 2008. My resignation note to my boss said, "elevator out of order again, this is my two week notice" lol. Just fyi, I took over all the cooking of supper, sometimes I make breakfast or lunch. Negotiate better! lol
