Granny's gone and done it again

Uh-oh, I was mistaken about something I wrote earlier. I'll go back and fix it.

Most people are more allergic to the egg white than the yolk as it contains more protein. Heating can destroy the allergic protein in the egg white. For this reason some people can eat hard-boiled egg or other food with cooked eggs and not get symptoms.

Well I ended up making pancakes for dinner. I know better than to eat them. Just had a bad sugar drop. After a glass of milk, sugar water and PB sandwich its 52.
We usually eat a meat protein with syrupy sweets. A pork or beef patty about 3-4 inches in diameter works very well for me, bacon works well, but tends to be a bit pricier if that's a problem. Eggs as a protein to offset the sugar don't work nearly as well for us as what a meat protein does.
In my case the best meat I've found to help me is a four inch sausage patty. I don't even eat pancakes and waffles with syrup if I can't have a fatty meat protein to offset it.
Granny, does your sugar go up if you eat protein? (Mine goes down if I do, usually).
This works for both of us, my wife can use about any protein, but mine has to be a meat protein.
